I am Clare Foale (she/her) - pronounced “foal” like a baby horse.
I am an Autistic ADHDer (AuDHDer), creative, storyteller, space holder, Mother and activist, living and
creating on Garigal land on the east coast of Australia.
I bring a deeply personal, neuroaffirming compassionate approach to my work.
I am AuDHD myself (late diagnosed 4 years ago) and have spent the past 13 years parenting my two Autistic, ADHD, PDA kids. I have navigated School Can’t, homeschooling, advocacy, burnout, regulation challenges, identity exploration and the ongoing work of building lives that actually fit our family.
I am passionate about supporting Autistic, ADHD, and AuDHD children, teens and adults, and their families, in ways that are respectful, collaborative, trauma-aware and grounded in real understanding.
At the heart of everything I do is kindness which is active, intentional, and deeply respectful. I want you to feel welcomed, included, listened to, believed and celebrated. I work in ways that are flexible, responsive and relationship-based, adapting support to each person’s needs, interests, capacity and energy levels.
I am calm, open-minded, creative and enthusiastic. I love writing, painting, gardening and the beach. I often weave these gently into support when it feels right.
If you are looking for a support worker who understands neurodivergence from the inside out, who values kindness and genuine connection — I would love to hear from you. Whether you’re seeking practical support, peer understanding, community connection or simply someone who gets it, I aim to offer support that feels human, respectful, and affirming.
Conversation is how I make sense of life, you might like to tune into these podcast conversations I have been part of to get a sense of who I am.
